System Requirements

The following are the recommended and minimum requirements to use and install the Oracle Java Portlet Container:

Application Server

Oracle Application Server or OracleAS Containers for J2EE Standalone version 10.1.3.1 production
Oracle Portal or Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.0

Oracle Portal 10.1.4 or later (hosted version is at http://portalstandards.oracle.com) or Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.0

Database (optional) Oracle9i Database version 9.0.1 or later (not needed if using file-based preference store)
Browsers Netscape 4.0.8 and above, 
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 with Service Pack 1 and above
